Wanted to share this verse during cellgroup last week as Pat was worshipping the Lord, felt the spirit leading to share Is40...

Isaiah 40:28 - 31 "Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

In my 9 years of walk being a christian, so many times have i been tired, weary and in need of a breakthrough. But what never fails me in this verse is that the Lord's encouragement to me. He is Soveriegn...His understanding we cannot apprehend most of the times. I have made so many mistakes in my life, but i have seen His grace and mercy upon me in my life. I have seen so many of my good friends in church leaving because of circumstances/situations happening in their lives. I pray that we can be like eagles that even as we run, we wont grow weary, as we walk, we will not faint. Guard your hearts and guard your Salvation Today...

Many can try to fly, but few can soar...

Movies Review - 27 Dresses

27 Dresses Plot :

A single woman who has served as a bridesmaid a shocking 27 times wrestles with the prospect of supporting her sister at the altar on number 28, despite having fallen helplessly in love with her smitten sibling's handsome husband-to-be. Jane (Katherine Heigl) has the kind of altruistic traits that everyone looks for in a friend, yet lately the perennial bridesmaid has begun to feel as if something is missing in her life. Jemcritic: Just went with huizi to watch this show, initially thought its going to be some lame romantic show for ladies because of the way the show's titled. I mean 27 dresses? why not 28? or 30(round it up la)...Kin Sung gave a thumbs up for it, but then still i had in mind that maybe he was forced to give a thumbs up under circumstances infront of Lijuan. If you know what i meant. Haha.

Well after watching the movie i really changed my mind about it. The plot was really good except for some lack of character development in some scenes. But overall is really good and i believe this one is a must watch whether you are a guy/girl. This is definately in contention for Oscar and whatever movie recognition that can be given to the producers for this show. I can only imagine because they were the ones who came up with The Devil Wears Prada which is also an awesome show.

She is one of my tuition kids that i teach... She is Sec1 this year, but still so lame and i always get the so-vomitable-after-teaching-her-sickness. Yea thats right, not vomit food but BLOOD! see the picture above? she was having flu that day, so her mum forced her to put on a mask while having tuition...was laughing at her through out tuition...

She is the only kid that i come across that eats (hear this) : leaves, paper, chicken stock, hair, pen ink, fish food / dog food.... and the list goes on.... goodness....

Rest in Peace Mr Wong

Just received news that my tuition kid's grandfather just passed away yesterday night. So sudden. He had a heart attack two days back and was in critical condition. During that day, i was still giving tuition to carmen and she being young still did not think it was very serious. We made a prayer together after tuition, praying for his recovery. Like all innocent kids, she wanted "Yeye" to come back home so that she could took care of him. I will usually see Mr Wong walking around at home during tuition tending to his huge tank of fishes or he would be heading to golf with his golf apparels, notably his golfing cap. I would just pass a greeting to him and thats the furtherest we have talked since a year back when i have been tuitoring carmen.

Lord, i pray that you will look after the family, keep them strong and united during this difficult time. Let your love and peace be upon all of them and that Mrs Wong and carmen will be taking it well enough.

Lord we trust in you for the time on this earth is in your sovereign hands. Help us to love our loved ones more dearly and appreciate the things that we may not see or have taken granted for.

Rest in peace Mr Wong.

RT Training - IPPT Test Phrase 2

Wah super doper shack after taking my ippt test during phrase 2 of my RT. Some of you guys must be wondering what is RT. Its a remedial training programme for NSMen who fail their IPPT. We would need to clock in over 20 sessions of training. Each lasts about 2.5hours. IPPT is a stupid mandatory regime implemented by SAF to make sure we SINGAPOREAN GUYS are fit. DUH! like machiam doing standing board jump and chin-ups will help alot lidat. -_-" Government might as well give us a one year free California fitness membership. Waste resources, manpower, money and most of all waste TIME!

Now need to think about my in-camp training again which is coming up in mid-feb. Y just MINDEF use their brains abit to know that students taking FT in SIM also studying for their exams, then still want to call us up. Super boliao people...Its not only me thats complaining, i pity my other friends too under the same situation. Yea this is a hate post dedicated to all the "wonderful" people in SAF... All the craps...i mean CRABS/LOBSTERS/STARFISHES...whatever... think you guys better be more concerned about more Dave Teos running around amock in their M16 in orchard ba. LOL... wah abit too strong words/dialogue used here liao. Later kana charged... haha
